2020...what a year.

2020 definitely was not the year that any of us expected for Chapel Brook and our customers.. As the new year begins to ramp up and we continue to adjust to our “new normal” we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what the past year meant to Chapel Brook LLC. We were able to provide our services to 8 different states, which at the beginning of 2020 was a much easier task than it would soon come to be.
In late February-early March the transition to an at-home work environment meant that companies had to quickly pivot, some left with operational workspaces that were then vacant and leases set to expire. We were fortunate enough to be able to facilitate the decommissioning of office spaces as well as handle all logistics involved in Massachusetts, as well as New York state, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, carefully following Covid-19 protocols in the different areas of the country. The transition to fully remote is a trend we expect to continue in 2021 and we are preparing to better provide these services as the world continues to change.
Our Global Custom Solutions increased significantly in 2020, collecting material as far away as Guam, South Korea, Germany, and Bahrain. Custom solutions allowed our customers to manage obsolete equipment without having to being additional personnel onsite, providing an extra level of safety and security.
This global transition did not stop at the use of physical space. Many companies we worked with realized that they were not prepared from an IT perspective to handle switching to work from home so quickly. When new materials were needed, Chapel Brook was able to efficiently handle the decommissioning and recycling of old material.
Below is a map of the states Chapel Brook was fortunate enough to provide service customers during 2020. We expect this map to get much more blue over the next 12 months.
Stay safe everyone.
